Port Klang rep speculated to leave PKR

KLANG: Speculation is high that Selangor is the next state where there will be another jump by a PKR representative.

Port Klang assemblyman Badrul Hisham Abdullah is speculated to be the next assemblyman to leave the party.

He has been disqualified from making decisions pertaining to his annual allocation of RM500,000.

Decisions on the funds for public events and minor repairs for Port Klang constituents are now decided by Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim’s political secretary Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, who is also the Seri Setia assemblyman.

“Over the past three months, I have been servicing the Port Klang constituents and the decision to use the funds allocated for the area comes under my purview and suggestions. Yes, it is a decision that had to be taken to avoid allegations of misuse of funds as at the moment, Badrul is unable to do so,” said Nik Nazmi.

Last Friday, Khalid commented that Badrul was suffering from a medical condition due to an accident and the state would extend a helping hand to him.

Last Monday, PKR issued a show-cause letter to Badrul for not attending a state bureau meeting for all party assemblymen.-the star
